A message from Mr Islam, Proprietor of the Koh-I-Noor

Thank you for visiting our web site. At our restaurant you will receive the same warm welcome.

Koh-I-Noor opened in 2000 and we have been serving our customers fine Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine ever since. We have many regular customers and invite you to join them. I am certain that once you have tried our food you will want to return on many future occasions. As head chef, I always use fresh ingredients and authentic recipes. I also regularly create new dishes.

Our food is always prepared to a high standard and within our food preparation areas we adhere to strict food hygiene practices. Many of our staff hold health and hygiene certificates.

Since opening in 2000, we have continued to invest in our restaurant and we plan to carry out further enhancements over the next year. Koh-I-Noor is an oasis from the bustle of the passing traffic outside, and the lighting system sets the scene for a relaxing meal. The welcoming interior is also the ideal setting for a celebration and group bookings are most welcome.

Our friendly and helpful staff will aid you through our menu to ensure you experience the best taste from India and Bangladesh. We are fully licensed and able to offer a full range of alcoholic beverages as well as offering you a selection of non alcoholic drinks.

Koh-I-Noor is firmly part of the local community. We recently prepared a selection of healthy balanced dishes for the children of Danley Middle School. Many of the children responded, talking positively about the food quality and taste. Please visit the section headed “Comments” and read for yourself what the children had to say.
